What began as a small kiosk was never intended to look or feel small. The objective was to create a brand that avoids category clichés while remaining instantly recognizable and culturally relevant.

As a female-led business, ESMERO set out to build a distinct identity in an oversaturated market.
Rather than leaning on familiar coffee symbols, the focus was on differentiation, recall, and a visual language that connects with a Gen-Z audience — without chasing trends.

The Challenge:

Create a brand identity that stands apart from typical coffee aesthetics and remains relevant as the business grows.

The challenge wasn’t visual execution alone. It was about building a system that could transition from a kiosk to a full-scale café without losing clarity or equity. Every decision was made with longevity, flexibility, and consistency in mind.

The mascot became the brand’s most recognizable asset, extending naturally into merchandise, packaging, and future touchpoints. More importantly, the identity established a foundation strong enough to support the brand’s growth for the next decade — without requiring a reset as the business expands.
